Should vehicles be taken outside Chile a special permit must be obtained at least 7 days in advance.
Permit cost for driving to Argentina: 01-15 days: USD 146.- & 16-30 days: USD 293.-, from Arica to Punta Arenas. Please reconfirm the cost of this permit at time of booking car rental (net rates)
All vehicles picked up at airports will be subject to a charge that will be made at the time of returning the vehicle. This charge is the equivalent to the 5% of the total rack rate for the reservation.
Deadline
To cancel the booking without penalty fee: 7 business days in advanced, Except the category G with 14 business days in advance.

C.D.W COVERAGE
Passengers, involved in an accident must report the incident in the nearest police station as soon as possible. They should ensure they receive a police report documenting the accident. They should then contact with the nearest Europcar office within the next 24 hours, with the police report in order to activate the CDW Coverage and for replacement of the vehicle should this be necessary.
The rates include:
Coverage CDW for damages in rented car (included in rate):
The coverage is for damages in our vehicles or any other third party involved in the accident. It includes:
a) Total protection from zero to total loss.
b) Coverage for third party
c) Civil Responsibility, for each event with a maximum of UF 500 (USD 20.000 app.)
d) EXCEPT for cars 4wd; customer is responsible for UF 24 (USD 1.000 app.) if the vehicle is rolled or turned over.
e) In case of theft (robbery) of any type or category will be an extra charge of UF 36 (USD 1.495 apps)
**Damages produced by an incorrect driving, bad use for driving under influence of not recognise drugs or alcohol influence, will be not covered by insurance.
INSURANCE COVERAGE EXCLUSIONS
The damage caused by deterioration of an excess burden. Court side tires, or damage to the vehicule because of missue.
Damage caused by persons or objets thar are transported in the vehicle and also over them.
Damage to tires and tubes, unless coming from a compensable accident that causes damage to the rest of vehicle.
The damage to the insured vehicle, while being driven by a person under the influence of alcohol or any drug that produces effects uninhibited, hallucinogens or sedatives, or driving without required documents by law.
Damage to the insured vehicle when the act which gives rise to, make the driver responsible for a crime punishable by law.
Damage to the vehicle while it travels, crosses or is detained in any stream, river, sandy beach, sea lake or land not intended for motor vehicle traffic unless they are required road trip public.
The damage sustained by vehicle, when involved in gambling, challenges, races or contests of any kind or recautionary tests for such events.
The damage sustained by the vehicle when it is intended for a purpose other than that declared.
Additional insurances: (not cover with CDW)
1) S.A.R.A.: (Additional Over rate in case of theft)
This insurance protects the theft of all portable elements of the vehicle, such as radio, antenna, spare tire, etc.
Extra price including tax: USD 5 net per day
Extra price for category X2 including tax: USD 33 net per day
2) S.L.I.: (Additional coverage for civil responsibility)
The SLI increase the coverage for civil responsibility for damages to third party with a maximum amount of UF 2.500
Extra price including tax: USD 18 net per day
3) P.A.I.: (Personal Accident Insurance)
This is seat insurance for all passengers inside of the vehicle at the moment of the accident. If the Car or pick up is designed for 5 people, this insurance will just cover 5 people, and it has a wide coverage in the following:
Accidental Death: Until UF 500 (USD 21.000 app.) per seat
Permanent Inability: Until UF 500 (USD 21.000 app.) per seat
Medical Spends: Until UF 50 (USD 2.100 app.) per seat
Extra price including tax: USD 2 net per day
